How Weighted Random Selection Works
Use relative weights responsibly and calculate the displayed chance for every option.
Add choices, apply optional weights and spin a private decision wheel for everyday choices.

Optional weight format: Option|2. Chance is displayed before spinning.
Configure the tool, then run it.
Decision Wheel makes a random choice from options that are already acceptable. A positive number after a vertical bar sets relative weight, and the page displays each option’s resulting percentage before the spin.
Break a low-stakes tie with a visual decision wheel. Add a weight after an option with a vertical bar, such as “Cook at home|2”, to make its relative chance visible while keeping the final selection cryptographically random.
Random values come from window.crypto.getRandomValues(). Lists are shuffled with an unbiased Fisher–Yates process. For a wheel, the result is chosen before the animation; for weighted entries, each positive weight defines its share of the total probability.
Input and results stay inside this browser during normal use. Local saving is optional. If you select Create Share Link, the visible list and settings are uploaded under a hard-to-guess token and expire automatically.
