Why use this tool?

Yes or No Wheel provides a simple visual prompt for casual questions where every listed answer is already acceptable. Start with equal Yes and No options, add Maybe, or replace the preset with your own short choices. Optional positive weights let you disclose unequal chances, and the probability display shows the effect before the wheel is spun. The browser selects the result with Web Crypto before the animation begins, records the text outcome locally and can remove a choice when you want the next spin to use a smaller set. Reduced-motion and text-result modes keep the answer accessible even when the animation is minimized. This tool is designed for playful, reversible decisions, discussion prompts and harmless tie-breaking. It cannot understand context or risk and must not replace medical, legal, financial, relationship, employment or other high-impact judgment.

How it works

Random values come from window.crypto.getRandomValues(). Lists are shuffled with an unbiased Fisher–Yates process. For a wheel, the result is chosen before the animation; for weighted entries, each positive weight defines its share of the total probability.

Limits to understand

Privacy

Input and results stay inside this browser during normal use. Local saving is optional. If you select Create Share Link, the visible list and settings are uploaded under a hard-to-guess token and expire automatically.
